"Joy D' Angelo worked with me from November 2008 to January 2010 as a kind of architect for a project I had for a community center in a largely immigrant neighborhood of our city. As a bi-lingual school counselor, I was aware of specific needs and connected to others who wanted to help pull it all together. That is where Joy came in with her amazing gifting and talents.
During Joy's work with us, she gathered and analyzed extensive research of the targeted area and peoples concerned. This also involved examining past and current outreach efforts by others to extract valuable insights and to understand both how to compete and where to collaborate. She delivered these insights in both written and oral form, and used PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate with others who wished to collaborate with us. Her reports of insights gathered were always on time and included a clear action plan for the next step. I was impressed with her creativity and ability to keep the bigger picture in mind while working out the details.
